Programme catalogue →How to apply
Applications for all USP programmes are made directly through our online application portal. Graduate certificate and masters applicants should provide academic transcripts, a statement of purpose, and two referee reports. Doctoral applicants are also asked to submit a research proposal and, where relevant, evidence of research experience. International applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency to the levels specified for each programme. Key dates for each intake are published on the relevant programme page and in the admissions calendar. Contact admissions@unsp.uk for guidance.
Fees and funding
Tuition fees are set annually and published alongside each programme. USP offers a range of merit-based scholarships and needs-based bursaries for eligible applicants from the Scotland and internationally. Government-sponsored candidates and Scottish civil service employees may be eligible for employer or departmental support. UKRI Doctoral Training stipends and fee offsets may be available for doctoral candidates enrolled through partner universities. Living costs in Stirling should be budgeted alongside tuition; the institute provides general guidance on accommodation options in Stirling and the Scottish universities.
